Imperium: Augustus - Augustus Empire (2003) Online Subtitrat

The film describes the life of Augustus, played by Peter O'Toole. Set in 42 BC, while Rome was shaken by a civil war. Together with his friend Agrippa, the young Augustus goes to help the troops of Julius Caesar to defeat Pompey. The film illustrates the intrigues and power struggle in ancient Rome.
Filmul descrie viata lui Augustus, interpretat de Peter O’Toole. Actiunea se petrece in anul 42 i.Ch., pe cand Roma era zguduita de un razboi civil. Impreuna cu prietenul sau Agrippa, tanarul Augustus pleaca sa-l ajute pe Iulius Cezar sa infranga trupele din Pompei. Filmul ilustreaza intrigile si lupta pentru putere in Roma antica.

n anul 1572 o femeie pe nume Kenau reuseste sa preia conducerea orasului Haarleam chiar la inceperea razboiului de 8 ani.Asediul asupra orasului onlandez a durat sub sapte luni pana cand populatia din acel oras a fost nevoita sa capituleze in fata Spaniarzilor.Tot orasul a fost distrus, in el nemai ramanand nimic.Fata unui maior,Kenau, si-a adunat 300 de femei si si-a facut o armata si a luptat cu ele impreuna pana in ultima clipa.

Casualties of War (1989)





Capodopera lăudată de critici, CASUALTIES OF WAR se bazează pe povestea adevărată a unui pluton de soldaţi prins în gulagul moral al Vietnamului aflat în război.
Martor la uciderea unui civil, soldatul Eriksson (Michael J. Fox) este forţat să-i înfrunte pe camarazii lui şi pe ofiţerul comandant, sergentul Meserve (Sean Penn), un bărbat puternic şi carismatic care a trecut graniţa brutalităţii împins de teroarea războiului.

It is also suspected that burned Rome and that he killed his mother and wife. Eccentric Nero wanted to build a marble Rome. Lack of material resources to fulfill his dream, empire led finances in bankruptcy. Cruelties, ambitions artist, plots, failures in love made him the king god to go crazy. He brought the empire to the brink of destruction as a result supported by the masses, the senators declared enemy of the state. Nero had nowhere to hide and commit suicide.
